These terms explain how to book a day trip or tour with Experium Morocco, how payment works, what happens if you need to cancel, and what each side can expect. By sending a booking request, you accept them. Prices shown on the site are a guide only: the price and services that count are the ones we confirm to you in writing.
The essentials
A quick summary of what matters most
01Who provides the service
↑Day trips and guiding are provided by AIT ISHA Mustapha, a tour guide licensed by the Moroccan Ministry of Tourism (licence No. 321, natural landscape guide category). His full details are in the Legal Notice.
When a trip includes accommodation, transport or other third-party services, those are provided by licensed partners, such as agencies, hotels or professional tourist transport companies. Each partner is responsible for its own service, and we will tell you its conditions before you confirm your booking. Those conditions apply on top of the ones on this page.
02How to book
↑You can request a booking through the form on this site, by email or by phone. A request is not yet a confirmed booking: it is secured once you receive our express confirmation.
Before confirming, we tell you in writing the activity, date, meeting point, duration, what is and is not included, and the agreed price. We treat every request as a serious commitment, so please check your dates and the number of people before sending it.
03Deposit and payment
↑- Deposit. Agreed with you for each booking. It can be any amount that shows your commitment to the booking.
- How to send it. By transfer through Western Union or MoneyGram or, in some cases, to the guide’s bank account. The recipient is always and only AIT ISHA Mustapha. We give you the payment details directly when we confirm your booking.
- Balance. In cash, when we meet, in any of the currencies accepted in Morocco.
- Third-party services. If a partner requires a different deposit or payment method, we will tell you before you confirm.
More about payments and your data is in the Privacy Policy. For your safety, always check that the recipient is AIT ISHA Mustapha and, if in doubt, confirm with us before sending money.
04Cancelling as a traveller
↑You can cancel by telling us by email, phone or through the form. The deadline is 24 hours before the start, and what happens depends on the type of activity:
Activities with no third-party services. If there is no accommodation, equipment or any third-party service booked in your name, cancelling up to 24 hours before is free and your deposit is returned.
Activities with third-party services. If there is accommodation, equipment or another third-party service, we contact that partner and tell you its cancellation policy. That policy applies to the part of the trip the partner provides.
If you need to cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, we will look at each case with you.
05Changes or cancellation by us
↑In the desert and the mountains, safety comes first. If the weather, track conditions or a force majeure event make it unsafe to run the activity, the guide may change the route, postpone it or cancel it. By force majeure we mean circumstances beyond our control that are abnormal and unforeseeable.
- We will let you know as soon as possible.
- We will offer you a new date or try to return what you have paid us, depending on the circumstances and the conditions available.
- Amounts already paid to third-party partners depend on each partner’s policy, which we will pass on to you.
If a partner significantly changes an essential element of its service, we will tell you so you can decide how to proceed.
06Taking part, health and insurance
↑Conditions for each activity
Before you confirm, we explain the conditions of the activity or tour, such as minimum age, the fitness level needed, recommended equipment and the time of year. Please tell us honestly about any physical or health limitation so we can adapt the activity. For safety reasons, the guide may adjust the pace or the route, or stop an activity if he considers it necessary. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Travel insurance is required
Travel insurance is required to take part and is arranged at your own cost. It should cover accidents, medical assistance and, where relevant, repatriation for the planned activity. It is not included in our services, and we may ask for proof before you start.
07Documents and information needed
↑You are responsible for having the documents to enter and travel in Morocco in order, such as your passport, visa and any health measures that apply to your nationality. Check with the Moroccan embassy or consulate in your country before you travel. We can point you in the right direction, but the checking is up to you.
To book, we ask only for what we need to manage the booking and for your safety. Where the law or a partner requires it, for example to register accommodation, arrange insurance or follow a safety procedure, we may also ask for identification details such as your passport information. They are handled under our Privacy Policy.
08Liability
↑- We are responsible for our own service, the guiding, and we provide it with due care.
- Licensed partners are responsible for the services they provide, such as accommodation or transport.
- We are not responsible for anything caused by force majeure, by a third party outside our service or by not following the guide’s instructions, nor for loss of or damage to your personal belongings.
Nothing above limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
09Problems and contact
↑If something during the activity does not go as agreed, tell the guide at the time or call the assistance number so we can fix it on the spot. Afterwards, write to us and we will reply as soon as we can. The complaint routes to the authorities are in the Legal Notice.
10Governing law and changes
↑These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco and the courts of Marrakech, without affecting the protection that the mandatory rules of your country of residence give you as a consumer, as explained in the Legal Notice.
We may update these terms. Each booking is covered by the version in force when it is confirmed.
