About this tour

This private tour starts and ends at Casablanca's Mohammed V airport and takes in Morocco's imperial cities: Rabat, Meknes, Fes and Marrakech. You travel with a Spanish-speaking driver for the whole trip, and the visits in Fes and Marrakech are led by an official guide.

From Fes the journey heads south through Ifrane, the cedar forest of Azrou and the Ziz Valley to Merzouga. There you ride a camel at sunset to a tented camp in Erg Chebbi, have dinner and spend the night out in the desert, with Berber music around the fire.

The return to Marrakech follows the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs: the Todra Gorge, the Dades Valley, the Skoura palm grove, Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou, before crossing the Atlas over the Tizi n'Tichka pass.
