The Ouzoud Falls lie in the Atlas Mountains, an easy day trip from Marrakech. It is a day for enjoying nature at your own pace: walk, relax by the water, swim in the river if you feel like it or pick up some local crafts.
When you arrive, you set off on a 1 h 30 walk with a local guide, looking at the plants and wildlife of the area, including the monkeys that live there. Afterwards you have free time, and if you like you can have lunch at one of the small open-air cafés overlooking the falls.
This is a shared group trip in an air-conditioned minibus or 4×4 with a Spanish-speaking driver, with pickup from your hotel or a meeting point in Marrakech. On the way you pass through small towns and villages, and you can also choose to visit a women's argan oil cooperative free of charge.
